Tory Lanez seems to be an unstoppable force of work currently as after dropping his brand new surprise album ‘Daystar’ a few days ago, the rapper was spotted shooting for a new music video in the New York City which we assume can be for any of the songs from his latest record. The Canadian rapper looked dapper in an all-black casual outfit as he was backed by a lot of people who were part of the video as well. Now, usually what every artiste does is get his or her own team for the music video shoots or hire dancers or other artistes but looks like Tory had different plans altogether.

According to the photos going viral on the Internet, it appears that the 28-year-old rapper simply grabbed random people off the streets to make them part of his music video. Check out the snippet of the shoot here:

The Twitter world could not keep calm but notice how hilarious the entire shooting process was. One user, who was at the filming site, stated, “Yea bro I’m just at this wack a** video shoot, this man like 5’3, Meg should’ve stepped on him.” One user tweeted, “These mfs look so confused & uncomfortable.” Another user highlighted a commoner with her shopping bag in the photos and stated, “Literally just grabbed people off the street.”

One user came in support of the rapper and added, “What he suppose to stay in the crib forever ?  Just c vc side he shot Meghan in the foot doesn’t mean he suppose to stop living and getting to the money.” Another asserted, “S**t look like he went to the boys n girls club in the hood and said “y’all wanna be in my video?” One said, “This looks like he gave random people on their way home from work $20 a piece to be in his lil video”

Tory has been in news since July 2020 after it was reported that he allegedly shot his then rapper friend Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. However, the rapper dedicated his new album entirely to Megan while dissing her on almost all the tracks and also explaining what really happened during the gunfire incident. In the song ‘Money Over Fallouts’, he goes like, “How you get shot in the foot and it ain’t hit no bones or tendons?” In another song called ‘Friends Become Strangers,” the rapper alludes to his private conversations with Megan and reverts to her claims about the night of the alleged shooting. He raps, “We both know what happened that night and what I did.”

The ‘Say It’ hitmaker had completely isolated himself from all his social media accounts until a week ago whereas, Megan, who got injured in the shooting incident, has addressed the issue several times on social media. It will be interesting to see if Megan reverts with a song or an album. Meanwhile, you can check out the music video of Tory’s track ‘Most High’ from his new album ‘Daystar' right here:
