Almost all artistes canceled their world tours and concerts in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic this year, but with new year, comes the promise

2020 wasn't a good year for live music, to say the least. Almost all artistes canceled their world tours and concerts in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. But, with a new year comes the promise of the live music industry bouncing back on its feet with multiple artistes rescheduling tour dates. So, what are some of the most exciting upcoming tours in the year 2021? Let's take a look.

Eagles

The legendary band, who are still one of the top touring acts in the world, are going to play 14 concerts in total, most of which will take place in the US. Starting September 16, 2021, the band will kick-off the US leg of their tour from Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. After playing two nights at the same venue, they'll make their way to Dallas, Texas followed by Phoenix, Arizona. California is also on the list of their stops. Justin Bieber

Bieber has introduced us to his new era with the tracks 'Holy' and 'Lonely'. He has also announced 46 tour dates across North America starting June 2, 2021. The singer will kick-off his tour performing at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California, alongside Kehlani and Jaden Smith. He'll make his way to Las Vegas, Glendale, AZ and San Jose, CA, among various other stops. The full list can be seen here.

Elton John

Sir Elton John's tour is a special one as the iconic singer-songwriter plans to stop touring for good once he's done with 93 planned concerts. Dubbed the 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road', it'll go on till 2022, and has dates around the world including multiple stops in the US. The full schedule can be found here.

Maroon 5

The Adam Levine-fronted band are one of the top-grossing tour acts in the world and, in 2021, the band will have multiple stops across the US. With a total of 43 shows, Maroon 5 will start their tour on July 15, 2021, with Meghan Trainor from the venue North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California. They'll travel across North America and will end the tour on October 2, 2021, in Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. All information can be found here.

Foo Fighters

The masters of arena rock, Dave Grohl's Foo Fighters will 12 concerts in 2021 that will kick-off from Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The band will travel across the Southern states before heading to international venues. Their tour information can be accessed here.

Lady Gaga

One of the biggest pop stars in the world, Lady Gaga will have three stops in the US in 2021, starting Fenway Park in Boston. She'll also be playing in New Jersey and Chicago before heading to Europe. The singer's full tour dates can be seen here.

KISS

With a total of 32 shows, KISS will be travelling all across the US with their first show in Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA, starting August 18, 2021. Guns N' Roses

Still one of the highest-grossing tour acts on the planet, Guns N' Roses, along with the Smashing Pumpkins, have over 22 shows line-up. They'll kick-off the 2021 tour from American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee, WI, starting July 10, 2021, and will end the US leg of their tour at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on August 19, 2021. The Weeknd

The Weeknd will embark on a massive 68 concerts across Canada and US, and even Europe. The 'Blinding Lights' singer will start the US leg of his shows in Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, MN, on June 19, 2021, with Sabrina Claudio. He'll cover a huge area of the US and end his US leg of concerts in at Madison Square Garden in New York City. See all the information here.

Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer

The highly anticipated 'Hella Mega Tour', which was postponed from 2020 to 2021, will resume from T-Mobile Park in Seattle starting July 14, 2021. It will also feature The Interrupters. The bands will make their way across the US and end the tour in Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO, on August 25, 2021. Access all the information here.
