'Too Close for Christmas: Chad Michael Murray to Hayley Lowndes, meet the cast of Lifetime's romance drama
As we enter into the holiday season, it's that time for the year when Lifetime releases its slate of Christmas films that the world eagerly awaits. 'Too Close for Christmas' directed and written by Ernie Barbarash is one such film that promises an emotional rollercoaster blended with a Christmas theme. Starring Chad Michael Murray and Jessica Lowndes in lead roles, the film revolves around Hayley (Lowndes) who decides to accept an invitation to spend Christmas with her sister's new in-laws.
What was meant to be a perfect life takes a drastic turn when he crosses paths with Paul (Murray), Hayley's brother-in-law's brother unexpectedly. It is revealed the duo have a history where Paul was responsible for ending her last relationship. While she spends time with Paul through the holidays, she realizes that he might have been judged too quickly. Chad Michael Murray as Paul
Murray's character is primarily looked at as the antagonist, although the storyline does seemingly change over the course of the film. Murray is known for his extensive work in television. The 39-year-old is best known for portraying Lucas Scott in the CW drama, 'One Tree Hill' and as Tristan Dugray on ‘Gilmore Girls’. His The CW slate of shows also include 'Riverdale' where he played the charismatic villain, Edgar Evernver and he's had a Marvel stint as well in the ABC series 'Agent Carter' based on the life and times of Agent Peggy Carter.
Jessica Lowndes as Hayley
Lowndes's Hayley is the central character who's life changes with Paul. The Canadian actor is known for her work Christmas-themed films that include, ‘Rediscovering Christmas’, ‘Over the Moon in Love’, ‘Christmas at Pemberley Manor’. Also known for her singing, the 32-year-old recorded the Christmas carol 'Silent Night' which was written in 1818 by Joseph Mohr and Franz Xaver Gruber. The track was sung for the 2016 flick, 'A December Bride'.
