‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’: Cobie Smulders says she looks forward to Tom Cruise's 'annual' cake

The ‘Stumptown’ actress followed Seth Meyers on the show. She said she would host 60 for Thanksgiving dinner, some her husband's relatives and the rest comedians.

The latest edition of NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ came across as the perfect start to the week, featuring a set of interesting guests on tonight’s episode. Graced by the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ fame Cobie Smulders, comedian and Late Night show host Seth Meyers and the Australian singer-songwriter ‘Tones and I’, whose latest single ‘Dance Monkey’ has turned a global pop anthem, Jimmy Fallon’s show offered just the right entertainment to beat the Monday blues.

The ‘Stumptown’ actress Cobie Smulders followed Seth Meyers on tonight’s episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.' Although her job has kept her extremely busy, she is planning on hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for at least sixty members at her residence this year.

When the host asked Smulders who these many people were, she responded, “I don’t even know who these people are. Some of them are from my husband’s family and the rest are all comedians.” She revealed that she hosted a dinner for eighty-nine people last year!

What makes her holiday more special is the cake she receives from Tom Cruise. “I may stop receiving the cakes”, she laughed, talking about Cruise’s present for her every year. Apparently, she preserves the cake until March by freezing it!

In the later segment of the show, Smulders spoke about her latest television series ‘Stumptown’, in which she essays the PI Dex Parios. Her impeccable acting in the series has been lauded critically.

Before she landed ‘Stumptown’ Smulders appeared in the ‘Avengers’ franchise and ‘Spider-man: Far from Home’. The ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actress expressed that she couldn’t believe the success her films attained when Fallon congratulated her on her hit films.

‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ latest episode concluded with a breath-taking live performance of ‘Dance Monkey by ‘Tones and I’, which peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
