'Go and apologize to Gisele': Internet trolls Tom Brady after Cowboys defeat Buccaneers

'Tom Brady has to be regretting every argument he ever had with Gisele,' said a user

ARLINGTON, TEXAS: Tom Brady's Tampa Bay Buccaneers were defeated by Dallas Cowboys for 31-14 at NFL playoffs, Super Wild Card Weekend. After the game, Brady commented, "Not the way we wanted to end it but we didn't deserve it, they played a good game and made a lot more plays than we did so tough game." 

After the disastrous defeat, the Internet is now trolling the Buccaneers quarterback and asking him to "retire" from football. Some of them are even claiming that Brady should have stayed with his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen by accepting her demand to retire from football and take care of their children.

The couple who got married in 2009, announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage in 2022. One of the alleged reasons behind the divorce is stated as Brady's decision to unretire from football. In September 2022 she said to ELLE, “And now it’s going to be my turn. I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom]. I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.” The Brazilian supermodel added, “At 42, I feel more connected with my purpose. Obviously, I have my concerns—this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too." 

Announcing their divorce, Brady wrote on his Instagram story, "In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.  We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration." 

Further, he added, "Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written. And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you." Meanwhile, Gisele noted on her Instagram story, "The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we spent together and only wish the best for Tom always."

The Internet quickly reacted to the defeat of the Buccaneers. A user said, "The next team that Tom Brady needs to be on is called the Retirement team…he’s washed…what he needs to do is go and apologize to Gisele and see if he can at least win that one back.." A user wrote, "Gisele rn." A user stated, "Tom Brady in the locker room getting ready to send Gisele that “Hey big head” text since he free now." "U Up?”- Brady to Gisele rn," wrote comedian Sam Morril. A tweet read, "Tom Brady outside Gisele’s house after this game." Another claimed, "I hope throwing away your marriage was worth it Tom Brady. Just retire and find some peace. You will forever be known as the greatest to ever take the field. No shame in that. But Gisele is gone, and she's not coming back."

A user stated, "When Gisele said "I am taking back my energy", she meant that!." Another comment read, "Tom brady rn like “hey gisele, I know we been in a bit of a redzone ourselves, but I was just thinking how you intercepted my heart. you’re the only team this free agent wants to sign with. hope your kids is good. LFG." A tweet stated, "Gisele watching Brady play tonight." Another added, "Tom Brady to Gisele."
