'Karma dealt with it so I didn't have to': Todd Chrisley's ex-daughter-in-law Alexus Whilby opens up on his racial attacks on her
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Todd Chrisley, the reality star who is presently serving a 12-year jail term for tax evasion, verbally attacked his son's Black ex-wife Alexus Whilby. He not only slammed her in a racist tweet but also sent her threatening voicemail messages. As per records obtained by Daily Mail, in April 2015, one year after Alexus, 31, tied the knot with Todd’s son Kyle, 32, he called his then-daughter-in-law a 'fame-seeking w****' and a 'tired a** ashy-skinned h*.'
He later deleted the tweet, but two years later Todd once again let out his frustration and send her several voicemail messages. He accused Lexi of lying about having a $100 million trust fund, and he will 'get a part of it.’ This outburst came in the wake of her helping the Georgia Department of Revenue in its investigation into his tax fraud scheme. In one of the recordings from voicemails sent by Todd to Lexi, the 53-year-old said he is suing her to ‘force her to do the right thing and acknowledge what she's done.' He added by telling her to call her 'brothers' and to 'find out about that fake trust you got that has that $100 million dollars in it, because I am coming to get a part of it,' reported Daily Mail.

'It was shocking'
Kyle, who separated from Alexus in 2018, opened up on the racism she faced within the family back then, especially his father Todd. "To see a grown man and public figure, who is the grandfather to a beautiful Black child say those horrible things was shocking,' Alexus said in reference to Kyle's half-black daughter Chloe, 10. The child was adopted by Todd and Julie in 2017 by Kyle and Chloe's biological mother, Angela Johnson. Alexus, who is a mother to a three-year-old daughter further said, “I endured the bullying comments for years in silence, but Karma dealt with it so that I didn't have to,” he said.
'Alexus Whilby tried to extort our family for $20k'
Interestingly, on December 11, 2014, Todd addressed fans over his Twitter account, “Folks. Alexus Whilby tried to extort our family for $20k or tell the press that we are racist. We chose to keep the $20k and see her in court." Alexus claims that the ‘extortion’ claim from Todd was completely false, and no lawsuit ever took place.
