Is Al Roker OK? 'Today' show weather anchor back in hospital day after being treated for blood clots
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The weather anchor of the 'Today' show, Al Roker, was hospitalized again for blood clots in his leg and lungs. Apparently, he was released a day before after he was treated in the intensive care unit. The 68-year-old reporter was recovering from his illness at home, but on Friday, Nov 25, his condition worsened again. "Al was rushed to the hospital after Thanksgiving." "His condition was worrying, but once he was back in the hospital, he improved," reports Page Six.
According to a report by People, Al "had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, and [Roker's wife Deborah Roberts] was locked out of her car and couldn't get inside it. The car (Tesla) malfunctioned. She couldn't get her phone or any of her belongings.” “Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family.” The couple share daughter Leila, 24, and a son Nicholas, 20, while the meteorologist also has a daughter Courtney, 35, with ex-wife Alice Bell.
