LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The weather anchor of the 'Today' show, Al Roker, was hospitalized again for blood clots in his leg and lungs. Apparently, he was released a day before after he was treated in the intensive care unit. The 68-year-old reporter was recovering from his illness at home, but on Friday, Nov 25, his condition worsened again. "Al was rushed to the hospital after Thanksgiving." "His condition was worrying, but once he was back in the hospital, he improved," reports Page Six.

According to a report by People, Al "had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, and [Roker's wife Deborah Roberts] was locked out of her car and couldn't get inside it. The car (Tesla) malfunctioned. She couldn't get her phone or any of her belongings.” “Deborah then went to the hospital by taxi with her daughter, where Al has since been surrounded by his family.” The couple share daughter Leila, 24, and a son Nicholas, 20, while the meteorologist also has a daughter Courtney, 35, with ex-wife Alice Bell.

Roker was first taken to hospital in October, which he shared on his November 18, Instagram post. The celebrated anchor revealed that he’s been receiving medical help for blood clots, "So many of you have been thoughtfully asking where I've been." He captioned with a bouquet of flowers, "Last week I was admitted to the hospital with a blood clot in my leg which sent some clots into my lungs." The anchor further said, "After some medical whack-a-mole, I am so fortunate to be getting terrific medical care and on the way to recovery. Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers and hope to see you soon. Have a great weekend, everyone."

In November 24 Instagram post, Roker gave an update to his followers on his health via Instagram video, "This is my version of the Thanksgiving Day Parade — getting ready to leave the hospital!" he said while walking through the hall. "Time to blow this taco stand. Woohoo!". He captioned the post, “So much to be #thankful for on the #thanksgiving day. Leaving the hospital and home for #thanksgivingdinner.”

Roker is set to miss this year's annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center due to his health concerns. He also missed this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years.
