'We’ll miss you': 'Today' host Savannah Guthrie writes emotional note and mourns show’s major 'loss'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Today' host Savannah Guthrie got emotional on her Instagram story earlier today and shared a heartfelt note about a co-worker who was changing shows. Savannah wrote on top of an image of herself with Hoda Kotb and Cate Gropper discussing something before a show. The caption read, "Our loss is NBC Specials' gain." The emotional message didn't stop at one picture, but a series of them. On the second picture, Savannah wrote, "We will miss you, @categropper."
Savannah shared that their senior production manager, Cate Gropper at 'Today' is leaving the show to work with NBC Specials. And the emotional message just proves that Savannah and the entire team was quite fond of Cate and didn't want her to leave. But, like everything has a happy ending, Cate and Savannah will be in touch as they will be brainstorming ideas and working for the same network. While fans were quite curious about what Cate would be doing in her new role, Savannah didn't elaborate on it further.

Savannah is in the new look town
Savannah has completely changed her appearance and has started wearing dark and thick glasses, instead of her usual contact lenses. Savannah's new accessory was definitely the talk of the town. The host sat down with co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin at the desk and was seen wearing a black blouse and white skirt. But, the thing that stood apart was her glasses. The host shared some pictures of her in them on her Instagram stories and post, all while rocking the new pair of glasses. The caption under the picture read, "never won’t be crazy for babies," with a picture of her with a baby and her glorious glasses.
'Savannah being a morning person'
Recently in an Instagram post, Savannah shared her morning routine with a video titled, "What time does Savannah Guthrie wake up for work?" and attached was a video of her talking about her routine and how she is a morning person. "Usually my alarm goes off at 4am," Guthrie said in the Instagram reel. "If I have a big thing for the show, it might go off at 3am." Savannah also gave in on a secret and a key decision she makes that helps her get up so early in the morning. "Never snooze!" she declares in the video.
