It has been three weeks since she suffered a humiliating loss to ex-husband Johnny Depp in the multi-million dollar legal drama, but Amber Heard is still hogging the headlines. On June 1, a Virginia court ordered Heard to pay the 59-year-old actor $10.35 million in damages. However, her legal team has since claimed the amount might be beyond the 'Aquaman' star's modest means.

The actress’ NBC interview with Savannah Guthrie has also put her under the radar, where she claimed, “I know what happened to me. I'm here as a survivor. To my dying day I will stand by every word of my testimony.” Amid all this, Heard was reportedly seen shopping with sister Whitney Henriquez at a TJ Maxx store, which is popular for selling items at lesser prices than other major retail outlets. TMZ reported the sisters “were perusing racks for clothes, and at one point they were heard discussing white linen pants. It seems the sisters had their basket full of would-be purchases.”

Heard’s outing attracted a lot of attention online, with most social media users making fun of her. One critic tweeted, “*Tips off TMZ* Shopping for budget clothes. I’m one of the little people. One of you. After spending an interview telling everyone she’s smarter than them, and it backfiring, she is once again trying to shut the stable door after the horses have fled and are two states away.”

“Last week: omg amber heard in a private jet?? She's faking being a victim Also today: omg amber at TJ Maxx?? She's broke! also where is her baby that we were sending threats uh?!” another said.

But there were many who were more interested in defending TJ Maxx than Heard. One such fan said, “Ain't nothing wrong with TJ Maxx.” TV personality Carol Roth shared: “Since TJ Maxx is trending, I will remind you that Twitter is the TJ Maxx of platforms— you can find some real gems here, but you have to sort  through a whole lot of crap to do so.” “You guys, TJ Maxx isn’t that bad. Now go call your dad,” a tweet read.
