The trial of the year announced Johnny Depp as the winner of the defamation case he had filed against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Just like Johnny, his fans are relieved and celebrating all over social media. The hashtag #JusticeforJohnny garnered a whopping 19.8 billion views across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. However, the hashtag #JusticforAmberHeard recieved only 81 million views.

This caused some humiliation to the actress. A common joke revolves around netizens of Team Depp drinking 'mega pints' in order to celebrate the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star's victory. Fans are hoping that Depp would do the same.

This is in reference to the moment during the trial when Amber's attorney asked Depp if he had a ‘mega pint of red wine’ before allegedly ransacking his kitchen. To this Depp had replied that he poured himself ‘a big glass of wine’ because he ‘considered it necessary’. Fans of the 'Nick of Time' star have been celebrating ever since the jury in the trial declared that Heard had indeed defamed Depp.

TikToks with the hashtag #JusticeforJohnny and other similar variations have garnered over 19.8 billion views, while similar posts with hashtag  #JusticeforAmberHeard garnered just 81 million views.

Here are some tweets from Team Depp.

A user said, "A man won against a woman today. The world believed him. In this #MeToo era where we believe whatever women say? A man was heard. Man am elated. "

Another added, "Imagine someone selling the notes that amber heard wrote during the trial, and would be sold in 2050 #justiceforjohnny #AmberHeardIsALiar #Depp"

This user said, "#AmberHeard The 1st Amendment doesn’t give you the right to defame someone publicly. You’ve literally been yapping for the past six years. Your reality is a self-absorbed narrative that you created, and will never be able to see beyond. It’s time to sit down."

Another said, "Johnny Depp won!!! Yay!!! I’ve known him for 35 years. Always a very nice and warm person. #JusticeForJohnny". "Im still shaking, this is a masssive win for any man having to deal with domestic violence and who aren't believed. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE DOESNT HAPPEN TO ONLY A SINGLE GENDER, IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE #JohnnyGotJustice #JusticeForJohnny," said another.
