After 12 years of marriage TJ Holmes files for divorce from Marilee Fiebig amid Amy Robach bombshell
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: TJ Holmes has filed for divorce with Marilee Fiebig, according to a report. The divorce comes weeks after a series of 65 photos got published showing Holmes and 'Good Morning America' co-anchor Amy Robach on multiple dates together despite both being legally married.
Holmes filed the paperwork with the New York County Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 28, according to In Touch Weekly. In pictures obtained by Daily Mail, Holmes and Robach looked intimate while having a drink at a bar in New York City on November 10. The pair, who began anchoring GMA3 in 2020, reportedly went to upstate New York on November 11 for a getaway at a cottage just two weeks before Thanksgiving. While Holmes is married to Fiebig, Robach is married to her husband Andrew Shue. And both of them married their respective spouses in 2010.

Holmes was previously married to Amy Ferson, whom he divorced in 2007. They share a daughter, Brianna, and a son, Jaiden. Holmes and Fiebig got married in March 2010 and welcomed their daughter Sabine in January 2013. In 2015, Holmes detailed the reason why he married Fiebig via Eurweb.com. He wrote, "You see, I didn’t fully understand why my marriage was flourishing, and I feared that if I didn’t understand what we were doing right, how would we know what to keep doing? Well, I think I’ve figured it out, and my eureka moment came just this week as I was putting together a business email. I asked my wife to review it, and she thought the tone of the email was too aggressive, confrontational, and negative. She was right. Her input stopped me from making the mistake of hitting send. That innocuous example is emblematic of our entire relationship. In all I do, I have a partner looking out for me, advising me, keeping me on track, and stopping me from making a mistake, no matter how great or small."
He further stated, "My family and I are closer, my individual net worth has gone up every year since we met, I’ve learned a second language, I’m healthier, I use the n-word less, I listen to Sunday church service more, I’m a better friend, I’m more forgiving than I used to be, I’m more involved in charitable work. In every way, I’m better off because I’m married. So, for me, a successful marriage has revolved around this principle: I like who I am with her.”
The duo took the call to proceed with divorce after 12 years of marriage. On the other hand, after Holmes and Robach's affair news was made public, it is revealed that Robach and her husband Shue are also in the process of finalizing their divorce, reports Just Jared.
