NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'GMA3' host TJ Holmes introduced Amy Robach and her husband Andrew Shue as "favorite people on the planet" during a segment in 2021. Holmes smiled at the camera while calling the now-separated couple "a love story like no other." The clip that has been circulating is the GMA3 program shot in October 2021, when Robach, 49, and Shue, 55, were promoting the children's book they co-authored. This comes after the news about the 'GMA3' co-hosts alleged affair surfaced last week.

The adoring couple raved that 'Better Together' was inspired by their own love story and the integration of their respective families as two of Robach's children from her first marriage and Shue's three children from his previous wedding were together. The couple said that it was a "sweet tale about finding common ground and accepting and appreciating each other's differences," according to the Daily Mail.

The former couple was interviewed by the man who is now known to be Robach's lover which was bitterly ironic as pointed out by viewers. In the clip, Robach and Shue sat together as Holmes spoke to the camera, calling Shue "a dear, dear friend," and introducing a brief movie that detailed their romance. Holmes said, "Even though they're having fun here and they can smile and laugh and hug and kiss, these are two folks who both got together, both divorced, and also, she had two girls, he had three sons, and that family came together. It wasn't always easy but now here they are."

In a brief video that followed, Robach and Shue described how they were paired up at a book party and quickly found themselves "nose to nose" while exchanging tales about family history. They met the following day, got engaged within five months, and married each other within ten months.

When Robach returned to the studio amid raucous laughter, he joked, "Does anyone need an insulin shot?" as if he were a little embarrassed by the corny footage. Holmes was heard saying, "Yuk."

Holmes and Shue joked with one another as the segment came to a close, with Holmes saying, "I see you all the time. It's good to have you in the studio, my man." Shue responded, addressing both Holmes and his wife, "I'm just so proud of you guys. This is an amazing show, and you guys make it."

Robach and Holmes were reportedly spotted holding hands in an Uber, laughing together in a New York bar, and enjoying a weekend away in a beautiful cottage upstate in a series of photos released recently by the Daily Mail. The alleged affair reportedly ended both Robach's marriage to Shue and Holmes' marriage to attorney Marilee Fiebig, 44.

However, it was reported that Holmes also had an affair with married ABC producer Natasha Singh. The fact that Singh was one of Robach's greatest friends only increased the shock of Holmes's three-year relationship with her, which lasted between 2016-2019. Following that bombshell revelations, network executives opted to suspend the co-hosts "indefinitely".
