Thom Yorke announces US solo tour dates for the fall

It has been just two weeks since Radiohead's latest North American tour concluded, but it looks like frontman Thom Yorke is not done with the road yet. Much to the delight of the indie legend's fans, Yorke has announced a string of U.S. fall dates, this time performing as a solo artist. The 19-date trek kicks off at Electric Factory in Philadelphia on November 23 and runs through a string of mostly indoor venues, including gigs at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall at Washington D.C. and the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles before wrapping up on December at The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, NV.

Dubbed the 'Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes U.S. Tour,' it will feature music “spanning his solo works The Eraser and Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes and Atoms for Peace’s Amok,” according to Pitchfork. As was the case for his European solo tour earlier this year, Yorke will be accompanied on stage by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich and audiovisual artist Tarik Barri, both of whom collaborate with Yorke on his side project, Atoms for Peace. Cellist Oliver Coates will serve as the tour’s opening act.

During his most recent solo shows, Yorke debuted a number of new songs, including 'I Am A Very Rude Person,' 'Saturdays,' and 'The Axe.' He also debuted Radiohead's canceled Bond theme for 'Spectre,' which was then later debuted live by the entire band together. Later this year, he’s set to make his film scoring debut with Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria remake.
