Manfred Thierry Mugler was a French fashion designer, creative director, and creative adviser of the brand Mugler. He was born in Strasbourg, France, on January 21, 1948, and attended the Lycée Fustel de Coulanges in Strasbourg from 1960 to 1965, as well as the School of Fine Arts in 1966 and 1967. He founded his namesake fashion brand in the 1970s, and it soon rose to popularity in the decades that followed thanks to his avant-garde, architectural, hyperfeminine, and dramatic approach to haute couture. Thierry Mugler's passion for dancing and photography led to a successful career in fashion, and his label is known for stunning catwalk presentations and fetishistic clothes.

Thierry Mugler had a net worth of $20 million at the time of his death, according to several accounts. Thierry Mugler was interested in learning classical dance as a child and he became a part of the Rhin Opera ballet company when he was younger. In his twenties, Mugler's flair for cloth design reappeared. He relocated to Paris at the age of 24 and began working at a store. Within two years, he had achieved enormous success and had expanded his reach to include major fashion destinations. In 1973, he debuted his personal collection at Café de Paris. He became a fashion icon and built a name for himself in the 1980s. He became an international legend in a short span of time after completing his haute couture in 1992. In addition, he worked on his passion for photography and even published a book in 1998.
