Who is Ethan Lively? Tennessee country singer on 'The Voice' gets dubbed 'Tender Cowboy' by Kelly Clarkson
Ethan Lively from East Tennessee has managed to wow country superstar and judge on 'The Voice' Blake Shelton at the tender age of 17. He's also managed to get a nickname that we're sure will stick from Kelly Clarkson: "Tender Cowboy".
Lively has been singing since the age of three but being on a TV show like 'The Voice' seemed impossible for Lively. This is what possibly explains his nervousness. The small-town boy has never been on a plane prior to the show, but we have a feeling there could be a jet-setting future in store for him.
The teenager seems to have rather an old school taste in country music and he took to 'The Voice' stage to perform George Strait’s 1983 chart-topper, 'You Look So Good In Love'. Ethan is already a dog groomer and farm hand and now he hopes to add performer to what will be a very interesting mix.

Shelton however was shocked that none of the other judges turned a chair for Lively and this sentiment was echoed by fans. One fan on Instagram said, "He deserved more than 1 chair." Fans clearly approved of Ethan's old-school country choice of song.

Lively has been performing for years but clearly performing on a platform like 'The Voice' is bound to make one nervous. Fans also seemed to notice his nerves.
