After witnessing a lot of drama, ‘The Voice’ Season 19 has finally entered the semi-finals where the top nine contenders selected from the previous episode will now fight for a spot in the finals. After Jim Ranger from Team Blake performed his heart out, the very talented New-York based crooner Cami Clune from Team Kelly Clarkson took over the stage for her Live performance.

The 20-year-old semi-finalist covered the popular track ‘The Joke’ by Brandi Carlile and dedicated it to her mom. Cami’s coach Kelly seemed impressed with her performance and liked how she pulled off an emotional character for her set. Coach Gwen Stefani also praised the singer saying that her voice is angelic adding that her tone is pure.

However, the Internet had a different opinion on Cami’s performance as a lot of them felt she lost the grasp of the song in between. Speaking on the same lines, one user posted, “Who the hell told Cami Clune @NBCTheVoice  she could sing? My god the dogs are howling!” One stated, “@NBCTheVoice Cami Clune was off key throughout that song!! Why do the judges never say that?? They need a Randy Jackson judge on that show.” Another added, “Cami Clune cannot sing,I can’t believe @kellyclarkson really kept her  over the other 2 Face with rolling eyes #thevoice” One shared, “I get so lost when Cami Clune performs. She immerses herself in the lyric and takes me on a journey. Not perfect melodically but infused with emotion. Unreal. #TheVoice #VoiceTop9” One said, “Now I know why the producers of The Voice put Cami Clune through to the finals. She has health issues. @NBCTheVoice”

From the previous episode of the last week, we saw only the best nine moved ahead in the competition from the slot of top 17. One member from each team was voted through by America and each coach then had an opportunity to save another artist they wanted to move forward. The lucky ones were Ian Flanigan and Jim Ranger from Team Blake, Carter Rubin and Ben Allen from Team Gwen, John Holiday, Tamara Jade and Bailey Rae from Team Legend and Desz and Cami Clune from Team Kelly.

‘The Voice’ Season 19 is being hosted by Carson Daly. All the episodes will be aired on NBC. Fans can also catch the singing reality show on the official website of NBC and on their official app along with the network's new streaming service Peacock.  Also, we will see Nick Jonas returning as a judge on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in Season 20 replacing Stefani. The American crooner earlier sat on the big red chair in Season 18.
