'The Voice' season 17 returned on Tuesday night as the Battle Rounds continued. But what no one expected to come along with the performances, was an emotional moment that brought everyone to tears.

Battling out against each other from Gwen Stefani's team were Rose Short and Jessie Lawrence.  This is one battle that Gwen was nervous about, so much so, she got advice from Blake Shelton too, apart from her battle advisor will.i.am. Though Jessie was nervous during rehearsals he brought his best performance to the stage. Rose also shared how she was insecure and had to overcome that and her self-doubt to get where she is on the stage. Both Jessie and Rose gave an amazing performance which made it hard for Gwen to make a choice.

Rose being the diva she is, belted out every note with confidence and acing it, including the low ones. Gwen revealed that it was a heartwrenching decision when it came to choosing the winner. But ultimately, Gwen chose Rose as the winner and saved Jessie too. All these emotional moments through the entire battle between Rose and Jessie affected not only the judges but even the audience and fans as well.
