UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: The knockout rounds heat up as the competition gets fierce! Blake Shelton’s team is back with the next three contestants to grace ‘The Voice’ stage. This time around, the country music superstar paired Kate Kalvach, Jay Allen, and Bryce Leatherwood. Many fans believe that the trio is Blake’s best bet to secure the coach a victory in the finale.

While Bryce and Jay are both hardcore country heads, Kate prefers to stick to the pop genre. For their sing-off, Jay chose to sing ‘Pray for You’, a song he dedicated to his fiance, while Bryce chose ‘Colder Weather’ and Kate opted for Justin Bieber’s ‘Anyone’. The judges appreciated all three artists, giving their critiques to each one. Camila Cabello loved how Kate turned a male vocalist’s song into her own and liked Bryce’s performance. She noted that Jay’s vocals had a few cracks. John Legend enjoyed the country singer’s performance despite the pitch issues and called Kate a “revelation.” He also called Bryce’s vocals “warm and inviting.” Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani was totally impressed by Kate and expressed she would choose her as the winner. Finally, it all boiled down to coach Blake’s decision, who claimed that he would “roll the dice” and pick Bryce.

Blake’s decision to “roll the dice” seems logical, considering all three of his contestants put in their best for the night, and Kate and Bryce both seemed worthy of making it to the next round. And in a brilliant turn of events, the two made it through. At the very last moment, John and Camila decided to steal Kate since they both appreciated her as a performer. Kate agreed to choose Camila because of how badly the coach had tried to get Kate to join her team during the blind auditions. The new twist made many fans rooting for Kate sigh in relief. But some also believe Blake chose Bryce instead of Kate because he knew she’d get stolen. Fans claimed that since Bryce is solely country, the other coaches would let the singer go, but because Kate is a pop artist, she had a better chance of being stolen, resulting in both Bryce and Kate stepping into the live playoff round.

According to fans, Blake is a “true coach” for his thoughtful decision. Many took to Twitter to praise ‘The Voice’ coach and express their opinions. One fan wrote, “Wow element of Surprise there. Bryce is worth rolling the dice. You knew Kate would get stolen.@blakeshelton #TheVoice.”

While another noted, “@blakeshelton #TheVoice It was a very nice gesture to give up Kate and keep Bryce. It was so obvious Kate would be stolen. Twice you’ve moved 2 out of 3 of your team on. Will you do that 3 out of 3? I won’t be surprised.”

A viewer also expressed, “Blake knows how it’s done. Kate ( no not me ) had the best performance but he knows too that if he didn’t pick her, John and Camila would steal her Whereas for Bryce,he’s pure country and less likely to be saved by the other coaches A true COACH @blakeshelton ! #TheVoice.”

A fan also added, “A star! Blake knew either Camila or John would 100% steal her.” One viewer spoke out about Kate’s decision to pick Camila, writing, “John legend gives you a standing ovation and you picked another coach? Are you crazy. BTW you are tremendously talented.”

Another expressed joy and penned, “Kate is awesome and it’s so sad that you only can choose one artist. So happy though that she’s going through to the live shows.”
