'The Voice' fans blame Chance the Rapper after Maddi Jane and Serenity Arce fail to make it to Season 25 final
UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: The Queen of Country and the Four-Chair King will attend the 'The Voice' finale. As fans bid farewell to the final members of Team Chance on Tuesday, May 14, many can't resist pointing fingers at Chance the Rapper for his team's absence in the finale.
Maddi Jane and Serenity Arce of Team Chance missed out on securing a spot in the top four following their semi-final performance. This forced them to compete for a slot in the finals by performing again on Tuesday, May 14, aiming to captivate the audience and clinch the Instant Save.
After the duo got eliminated, many took to X, with one fan saying, "The fact neither Maddi or Serenity advanced was solely based being on Team Chance, people vote for the judges..they don't vote for the voices. #TheVoice it shouldn't even be called that anymore." Another fan added, "I just realized chance doesn't have anyone going into the finale. We have our Gwen."

On Reddit, one fan noted, "Chance’s team was screwed on instant with those modern pop songs his team had this week." Following both Maddi and Serenity's failure to gain enough votes to advance in the competition, one fan asked, "Why can't Chance pull off some votes for his team just like Blake?"
Another fan noted, "Chance deserves it... Karma for what he did to his team in season 23. LOL."
