If you were thrilled about 'The Unicorn' finally returning with a brand new Season 2 episode after a whole week off, we've got some bad news for you. The CBS comedy is going for another hiatus after airing Episode 3 of Season 2, titled 'It's The Thought That Counts'. It was Shannon's birthday episode, and we saw Wade goes through the highs and lows of planning a celebration for the woman of his dreams keeping in mind that their relationship is still fairly new.

They had only been on one date after the unfortunate circumstances of their introduction, what can you say! But if you're itching to know how this relationship rolls out, you will have to wait another week or so. Wondering when 'The Unicorn' airs another episode next? Worry not, we've got you covered.

The upcoming episode, Episode 4 of 'The Unicorn' Season 2, will air on Thursday, December 17, at its usual 9.30 pm slot on CBS. There's no particular reason behind why the episode isn't airing the coming week on its scheduled December 10 air time, given that the last time the show took time off, it was for Thanksgiving weekend.

It could be one of those designated random mid-season breaks — definitely not the long term winter one, as the show is returning the very next week. The reason could be for the regular 22-24 episode seasons to easily fit across the span of a few months, hence the occasional breaks here and there. There are no repeat episodes scheduled in place of the new one that was supposed to air either.

Leaving us completely in the dark, CBS is yet to tease even so much as a synopsis for Episode 4 and all we really know about it right now is the title 'Work It'. Speculations can be drawn based on the previous episode that saw Ben and Michelle engage their group in some serious conversation about racial injustice, thus weaving in the ongoing social crisis the planet is plagued with.

The topic of discussion comes up when "Forrest gifts a water gun to Noah, and Ben and Michele quickly take it away" shares the synopsis for the third episode. With 'The Unicorn' finally attempting to hop on the list of TV shows dealing with real issues that 2020 has been ablaze with, the pandemic should also come up soon.

The characters don't seem to be wearing masks and they haven't addressed the raging crisis the entire year has been embroiled in so that's something to look forward to. There's also what other crisis the new couple aka 'Shade' will get wrapped in that keeps us on our toes, so it's going to be a fun two weeks filled with anticipation!

'The Unicorn' Season 2 airs on Thursdays at 9.30 pm on CBS.
