OSWIECIM, POLAND: 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz', revolving around the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during World War 2, bravely portrays the atrocities committed by Nazi officers during the Holocaust.

Starring Harvey Keitel, Jonah Hauer-King, Melanie Lynskey, and Anna Próchniak in pivotal roles, 'The Tattoist of Auschwitz' is based on the real-life love story of Lali Sokolov (Jonah Hauer-King) and Gita (Anna Próchniak), the prisoners at the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

With only two episodes left, the series is becoming increasingly intense as Lali witnesses and experiences the brutality of the Nazi regime.

Let's discuss the events of 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' Episode 4.

In 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' Episode 4, the oppressive and brutal officers of Auschwitz present constant threats to Lali's safety and well-being, making every day a struggle for survival.

The authorities capture Lali after discovering vodka, rings, and American currency in his possession, leading them to suspect that he may be working for someone else within the camp.

In their eyes, these items suggest a level of privilege not afforded to prisoners at the camp. As a result, they interrogate and torture him, hoping to extract information about any potential collaborators.

A man begins to beat Lali relentlessly. However, Lali chooses not to reveal the name of the officer who told him to steal, as doing so could still result in his death. Later on, the officer who instructed him to steal arrives and takes him away.

This demonstrates the officers' willingness to prioritize their own interests above all else. It appears that Lali has adapted to life in the camp and is willing to endure any suffering as long as he can remain with Gita.

When Lali meets Gita, his own pain goes away. His love for Gita gives him strength and allows him to momentarily forget the horrors of Auschwitz, highlighting the power of their love.

It appears that Lali and Gita can conquer any obstacle, raising the possibility that their love could even lead to their escape from the concentration camp.

In the last scene of 'The Tattooist of Auschwitz' Episode 4, women and children are taken away from the camp. Lali is shocked and horrified to witness the Nazi officers taking away women and children, and he starts pleading for their safety.

It seems that those women and children are among those chosen for immediate extermination in the gas chambers. It is also possible that they are taken because the Nazi officers suspect that they are acting against the authorities.

But given the Nazi officers' previous records, it is evident that they will be killed. They may take them to the gas chambers or sentence them to death by hanging.

Lali may never see those women and children again, and witnessing their fate firsthand may fill him with sadness and grief. This moment serves as a stark reminder of the cruelty and inhumanity of the Nazi regime, leaving Lali with a deep sense of loss.
