On Friday’s episode of the CBS Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk show ‘The Talk’, co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, rapper Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba and Marie Osmond had a candid chat with American actress, producer, and television host Vivica A. Fox.

The 55-year-old whose one of the more memorable roles came in the form of Vernita Green in ‘Kill Bill: Volume 1’ spoke about the Quentin Tarantino film and the critically-acclaimed Fox musical drama series ‘Empire’ among other things.

Fox began with her recent appearance at the premiere of the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence-starrer ‘Bad Boys For Life’. Fox, who early in her career worked with Smith in ‘Independence Day’, was there to show support. Speaking to the co-hosts of ‘The Talk’, Fox said, “I wanted to make sure that I was there to support him, and I didn’t even get to see him that night. But when I’m telling you -- the premiere and the movie were awesome.”

Asked about what movie she would love to see a sequel of starring her, Fox revealed, “For me, I would love to do ‘Soul Food 2’ and ‘Kill Bill 3.’” She further said, “I know I got killed, but Quentin [Tarantino] knows how to work things out. Maybe put me in a flashback scene, training my daughter and then the two daughters can fight each other… then they can have a flashback of the night fight scene, you know, with me and Uma.”

She added, mimicking a phone call, “Quentin, call me.”

Talking about ‘Empire’, which is in its last season, Fox said, “We are only halfway through the final season. But it's amazing, the chemistry on the set is amazing. This season she [Candace Mason] got to spend a lot more time with her sisters and interact, and we're trying to get her away from Lucious [Terrence Howard]. And so, it's been an amazing experience so far.”

On being asked if she would like Jussie Smollett back on the show, she said, “Of course, I love Jussie, and I always will. He’s family. You know, things happen. We started the show with him, and in my honest opinion, I'd love to finish it with him. But it is up to the network.”

Smollett who played Jamal Lyon on ‘Empire’, last year told police that he was attacked in Chicago's Streeterville by two people. He described them as white men, who physically attacked him while using racial and homophobic slurs, poured an unknown chemical substance, possibly bleach, on him and tied a rope around his neck.

Things got murkier from there. After an investigation, the following month, Smollett was indicted for disorderly conduct consisting of allegedly paying two Nigerian-American brothers to stage a fake hate crime assault on him and filing a false police report. He was subsequently dropped from the cast of ‘Empire’.

Fox will soon be seen in an LMN movie called ‘The Wrong House Sitter’. In the film produced by Fox, she plays Deb, a successful editor who sends Dan (Jason-Shane Scott) on assignment but having recently moved into his dream home he is apprehensive. When he meets Kristin (Anna Marie Dobbins), he thinks he has found the perfect house sitter, but when she begins making herself comfortable and posing as his new girlfriend, Dan has a huge problem when the woman refuses to leave his home and life.

‘The Talk’ airs Monday through Friday at 11 a.m. PT.
