The American pay television network LMN — Lifetime Movies Network — started its annual 'Deadly Resolutions' themed programming event hosted by Vivica A Fox on January 1.

The programming has 11 films every Thursday and Friday night at 8/7c throughout January, and Fox's latest 'Wrong' movie is 'The Wrong House Sitter'. The previous movies in this anthology series of sorts include titles like 2016’s 'The Wrong Roommate' and 'The Wrong Child', 2017's 'The Wrong Student' and 2018's 'The Wrong Cruise'.

Release date

The film is slated to be released on January 24, 8/7c on LMN.

Plot

According to TV Insider, in the film produced by Fox, she "plays Deb, a successful editor who sends Dan (Jason-Shane Scott) on assignment, but having recently moved into his dream home he is apprehensive. When he meets Kristin (Anna Marie Dobbins), he thinks he has found the perfect house sitter, but when she begins making herself comfortable and posing as his new girlfriend, Dan has a huge problem when the woman refuses to leave his home and life."

Executive produced by Jeffrey Schenck and Barry Barnholtz, and directed and produced by David DeCoteau, 'The Wrong House Sitter' works on similar tropes as all other 'Wrong' movies — a benign suburban life suddenly experiences trouble with the introduction of a deadly new character.

The 55-year-old American actress, producer and television host began her career with roles on daytime television soap operas such as 'Days of Our Lives' and 'Generations'. She is well known for her role in the Lifetime crime drama series 'Missing'.

Speaking to TV Insider about her 'Wrong' films, Fox drew a parallel between them and Adam Sandler's acting choices. She said, "The fact we are doing 'The Wrong Cheerleader' for Lifetime, it’s so wonderful to work with her again too. I feel kind of like Adam Sandler for Lifetime because Adam for a long time had these movies he did with his crew of actors. They all get together each year and make a couple of fun movies. Everyone knows each other. It's like having your little acting family."
