'The Real Dirty Dancing': Upset fans say 'Tyler and Anjelah should have won'

Many fans said Tyler was a better Johnny than Corbin and that he should have been the winner of 'The Real Dirty Dancing'

The charm and sex appeal that Baby (Jennifer Grey) and Johnny (Patrick Swayze) exuded in the cult-classic film 'Dirty Dancing' is pretty hard to replicate, but wight brave celebrities decided to try their hand at it on FOX's dance competition series 'The Real Dirty Dancing'. In a bid to become the new Baby and johnny, the eight celebrities from various walks of life worked day in and out trying to recreate the signature dance moves from the hit 80s movie.

After two rounds of elimination, the competition narrowed down to Tyler Cameron and his dance partner Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, and Corbin Bleu and his partner Cat Cora. Both the couples were tasked with the challenge of recreating the iconic lift scene from the movie. After countless hours of practice, both the couple managed to perfect it and presented their version of it during their finale performance. Fans of 'Dirty Dancing' from across the country flew down to the sets of the show to judge both the performances. After careful consideration, the fans aka judges picked Cat and Corbin as the new Baby and Johnny, thus crowning them as the winners of 'The Real Dirty Dancing'. Sadly, many of the show's fans who were sitting at home and watching the show were unhappy with the decision and felt that Tyler and Anjelah should have won instead.

Many fans took to Twitter to express how Tyler was a better Johnny than Corbin and that he should have been crowned the winner. A fan tweeted, "Tyler and Anjelah should have won. Jmo on watching the finale. #therealdirtydancing." Another fan wrote, "As much as I love Corbin, he carried Cora. Tyler and Anjelah were equally good. I can’t believe I loved this show lol #therealdirtydancing." "TYLER WAS A BETTER JOHNNY !!!!!!!! #TheRealDirtyDancing," declared a fan. "Sorry but I'm disappointed 1) that @BellaTwins Brie didn't win and 2) @anjelahjohnson and Tyler didn't win!!! I thought for sure they would get it. I'm sad!! #therealdirtydancing," shared a fan.
