Lego launches 'The Office' building set with 15 figurines for all Dunder Mifflin fans
It’s been ten years since the popular sitcom 'The Office' ended. However, since the series is still so popular among the audience, Lego has now bought back the characters of Jim, Pam, Michael, Dwight, and the Dunder Mifflin gang in an all-new 'The Office' building kit.
Lego has already manufactured sets for popular NBC series like 'Seinfeld' and 'Friends'. The latest set has been designed by Jaijai Lewis who pitched the idea through the Lego Ideas website. It received around 10K votes from fans and was eventually sent for production.

The new Office building kit from Lego consists of 1,164 pieces and is currently accessible for pre-order at Walmart. It has been priced at $120 and will be available in stores from October 1, 2022.
The new kit has a Lego replica of the Scranton, Pa officers of Dunder Mifflin that includes Michael’s private office alongside the break room. Customers will get 15 characters, including Lego models of Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly, Ryan Howard, Angela Martin, Oscar Martinez, Kevin Malone, Stanley Hudson, Kelly Kapoor, Phyllis Lapin Vance, Meredith Palmer, Creed Bratton, Toby Flenderson, Darryl Philbin and Angela’s cat Garbage.
A few memories from Season 9 have been also included like Kevin’s pot of chili, a stapler in gelatin, Jim’s teapot, Pam’s engagement ring, a Dundie trophy, and a ‘World’s Best Boss’ mug.
Speaking about the kit, Lewis said that he worked on the project for seven years and used behind-the-scenes photos, set blueprints, and continuously watched the show for help in designs. He added that he enjoyed recreating the best moments from the show from the beginning and the biggest change was rescaling it to make the set smaller while keeping all the characters. Lewis mentioned that he watches the show for comfort and it is hilarious, relatable, and heartwarming.

The final version was created by designer duo Laura and Chris Perron. Laura stated that the project allowed her to combine three things she loves – her husband, 'The Office', and Lego bricks. She added that she and her husband are big fans of the show and worked on many references and worked on many jokes for the model. She said that they are satisfied with the final result.
Chris said, “Jaijai did a great job refining the scope and scale of the model, and we created the final layout and structure to capture as many iconic angles as possible. It was special being able to co-design this set with my wife, Laura; we felt we could play up the Jim and Pam dynamic. We didn’t want to hold back on references, so there are extra stickers and accessories to recreate your favorite moments.”
'The Office' aired on NBC from 2005 to 2013 and creator Greg Daniels recently stated that a revival might happen, although it is not confirmed.
