Motel where Stephen 'tWitch' Boss killed himself is still open for business but room he died in stays shut
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The motel where Stephen "tWitch" Boss was found dead is still open for business, days after his death. The manager of the Oak Tree Inn where the DJ died by suicide on Tuesday, December 13 in Encino, California said that the motel is still accepting visitors and that it never closed in the wake of the tragedy. Although the budget-friendly facility is open for business, the room where tWitch killed himself will remain closed to guests.
The manager told RadarOnline.com that the room will be off-limits until further notice. A veteran executive producer of Ellen's show checked into Room 249 at the Oak Tree Inn at around 10.30 am on Monday, December 12. The hotel manager claimed that the hotel maid found DJ from Ellen DeGeneres' show had shot himself fatally in the hotel room after he reportedly had missed his check out time that day.

Despite the fact that tWitch shot himself to death, no gunshots were reportedly heard by the staff. The manager called 911 to report a gunshot only after learning that the room's deceased resident had been discovered by the hotel's cleaning staff. He was unable to provide the location of tWitch's wounds in his interview with RadarOnline.
tWitch did have a little bag with him when he checked into the motel, which was apparently found in his room at the time of his death. tWitch reportedly checked into the motel on Monday, December 12, a mere 14-minute walk from his Los Angeles home.
His wife, Allison Holker, went to the LAPD on Tuesday,, December 13, to report that her husband had left the house without his car, which, according to her, was unusual for him. It's unclear why she held off calling the police until the next day. His friends expressed their shock and disbelief at the news, saying their prayers are with Allison and their children, Maddox, Zaia, and Weslie Renae (Holker's daughter, whom he adopted).
'So You Think You Can Dance' was where tWitch began his Hollywood career. He first appeared as a guest DJ on Ellen DeGeneres' syndicated talk show in 2012 and didn't leave until the show's cancellation this year. Ellen released a statement after learning about his death, saying she was "heartbroken," before adding that the dancer and DJ "was my family."
