Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio may only have one Oscar, but he owns a lot of real estate in Los Angeles. Now he has added another mansion to the list. As Dirt reports, DiCaprio paid $10.5 million for his neighbor's mansion in the Hollywood Hills. According to the website, the property is adjacent to his longtime Bird Streets compound, where the actor currently owns five properties totaling 5.14 acres.

According to Mansion Global, DiCaprio purchased the 0.4-acre property through an LLC affiliated with his longtime business partner Robert Hrtica and a cousin of the actor. Bird Streets is a celebrity-inhabited neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills. According to published reports, current and former residents include George Harrison, Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Anniston, Ariana Grande, Jerry Seinfeld and Jody Foster.

Built in 1963, the 3,500-square-foot, four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion was formerly the home of Ron Linclau and his wife, Joan Linclau. DiCaprio was sued by the couple in 2007 for negligence in the construction of a basketball court. In 2009, DiCaprio finally compensated the Linclaus out of court, according to Dirt.

According to tax records, Leonardo's newest home was built in the early 1960s and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,500 square feet of living space. However, there is apparently a pool and separate guest house on the property, which is surrounded by large eucalyptus trees, Homes and Gardens reports.

The actor also owns numerous properties in Malibu, including a $23 million estate in the trophy enclave of Paradise Cove, which he bought in 2016, and a beach house in the gated neighborhood of Blue Whale Estates, which he purchased last September for $13.8 million. Last December, he spent $9.9 million on a 2019 Beverly Hills home, according to Real Deal.

Leonardo DiCaprio is not only an actor and producer, but also a humanitarian. His contributions to environmental and animal welfare organizations show that he cares about society and the environment, and he has a fortune of 260 million dollars.
