Sylvester 'Sly' Stallone snuck a sweet spot in fans' hearts with his record-breaking role in 'Rocky', which earned him two Oscar nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Actor. From the iconic 'Rambo' to 'Demolition Man' and 'Creed', his stalwart performances made him the beloved leading man. But, there's more to Stallone than his epic four-decade career in the entertainment industry.

The actor splashes his artistic side in his stunning La Quinta mansion with elegant decor and an ornate set of paintings. The actor's empire includes bi-coastal homes in Los Angeles and Coconut Grove in Miami and he recently put his golf club home in La Quinta, California, on sale for $3.35M. Stallone bought the property for $4.5M in January 2010 and previously listed it in 2015 for $4.1M. Reportedly, he had an offer in April 2016 but while he was looking for backup offers, the sale fell through. Public records reveal that the property was taken off the market in September 2016.

La Quinta has been the host city for a number of prestigious golf tournaments over the years including The American Express, formerly known as the Bob Hope Desert Classic. Not just golf courses, the Los Angeles suburban is also the spot where Frank Capra penned down the screenplay for 'Lost Horizons' in 1937 while lounging poolside at the La Quinta Resort & Club.
