The Miami F1 Grand Prix announces Kaytranada as closing act of race weekend
Miami Gardens, Florida (Release): The Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2024, has announced two-time Grammy Award winner Kaytranada as the podium performer for this year’s race, capping off the musical acts for race weekend. With three chart-topping albums, Kaytranada has made a name for himself as one of the leading dance, electronic, R&B producers and DJs selling out tours throughout the world. He will close out race weekend with a performance on stage following Sunday’s trophy presentation.
Kaytranada bolsters a star-studded entertainment lineup which includes six-time Grammy Award winner Marc Anthony, who will perform the national anthem on the grid on May 5 as well as Hard Rock Beach Club performers Steve Aoki, Don Omar, Kaskade, Ed Sheeran, and John Summit. All performances will be live-streamed on videoboards throughout the Miami International Autodrome for fans to enjoy.

Following the conclusion of the race, the MIA track will once again be opened for General Admission Campus Pass holders and other fans, in what has become an annual tradition. Fans will have the opportunity to close out race weekend with a front-row view of the stage for the drivers’ trophy presentation and Kaytranada’s performance.

The Miami International Autodrome has been chosen as one of only six venues worldwide boasting an F1 Sprint in 2024, guaranteeing three days of competitive Formula 1 action this May. During this year’s race weekend, Miami will also become the only city in North America to host a round of the dynamic F1 Academy, the junior series created to find F1’s next female star.
