'The Masked Singer' Season 2: The Thingamajig leaves everyone in tears with his emotional performance
On Wednesday night when 'The Masked Singer' season 2 returned, the Thingamajig made the judging panel cry with his emotional performance of 'Rainbow' by Kacy Musgraves.
'The Masked Singer' returned for episode 4, on Wednesday night and six masked singers - the Thingamajig, the Butterfly, the Black Widow, the Skeleton, the Leopard, and the Flamingo - took to the stage and blew us away with their performances and clues.
But what no one expected is for the big cuddly green Thingamajig to bring us grownups to tears. “I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve. I just want to show the world I’m just as warm and fuzzy on the inside as I am on the outside," the Thingamajig revealed during his clues.
Performing his version of 'Rainbow' by Kacy Musgraves the Thingamajig showed us a side of his, none of us has seen to date on the series. Nicole Scherzinger couldn't hold back her tears during his performance and got emotional. Even the all-time funny Ken Jeong got emotional with the Thingamajig's performance.
"I don't even know what just happened! You have such a beautiful voice. You have a great gift, so thank you for that," Nicole said wiping the tears off her eyes. Adding to that Ken said, "This is the weirdest fever dream of a show I've ever been a part of."
The judges weren't the only ones left emotional after the Thingamajig's performance, even fans took to social media to share that the Thingamajig made them get emotional.
Taking to Twitter a fan wrote, "Everyone's being funny and the thingamajig goes and blows everyone away with the seriousness. No one was expecting that one. #TheMaskedSinger." Adding to that another fan said, "Nicole crying while thingamajig is singing is literally my whole mood #TheMaskedSinger #ThingamajigMask."
