‘The Masked Dancer’ Spoilers: Who is the Exotic Bird? Lady Gaga to Venus Williams, here are the clues so far

While trying to join all the dots, the panelists made some wild guesses where we saw Paula Abdul noting that the masked celebrity is a trained dancer or a natural performer

Looking as colorful as a rainbow, the Exotic Bird landed on the stage of ‘The Masked Dancer’ season premiere with her magnetic vibes. The masked celebrity got a warm reception from all the panelists namely Ken Jeong, Brian Austin Green, Paula Abdul and Ashley Tisdale. Before kicking off her performance, the Exotic Bird dropped subtle hints for the audiences and the panelists in her montage.

In the video, we saw the Exotic Bird running on a track saying that she has always been a little competitive. While speaking of her struggles, she stated, “I started when I was a teenager. I felt attacked a lot-for losing, for my relationships, even just for being a big bird.” She also pointed out cleverly toward her cooking skills while showing off her baking supplies. We also saw the number 17, a “bang” and glitter coming out of a gun, perfume, venus fly traps and the tag “Best By 07” written on a carton of eggs.  After the montage ended, the Exotic Bird nailed her performance on ‘Con Calma – Remix’ by Daddy Yankee, Katy Perry, and Snow. She also used the term “Scored” in her ‘Word-Up’ feature. 

While trying to join all the dots, the panelists made their wild guesses where we saw Paula noting that the masked celebrity is a trained dancer or a natural performer who picks dance up quickly. Speaking on the same, Brian said the Exotic Bird is an Olympic athlete before taking the final guess with Hope Solo or Marion Jones. Ashley first named singers Fergie and Lady Gaga but she finally settled with Jennifer Hudson as her guess as Hudson is tall like the Exotic Bird. Ken, on the other hand, was very confident about the masked celebrity being the tennis star Venus Williams. Talking about the same, he said the number “07” reminds him of her winning the Wimbledon in 2007. There were also Venus fly traps in the clue package.

Social media users also showed equal interest in making their guesses. One user stated, “Ooh, the Exotic Bird on Masked Dancer looks amazing.” Another expressed, “Definitely an athlete but I have no idea who!.” One person tweeted, “By far my favorite. #ExoticMask #TheMaskedDancer.” Another individual made a guess and said, “#TheMaskedDancer miley ray maybe?” One said, “#TheMaskedDancer Exotic bird is Brittany Spears. 07 is when she had her break down, she has been attacked in the past. She has taken up track and field since the lockdown began, plus that dancing style.”

In  'The Masked Dancer' costumed celebrities will be joined on stage by masked partners and back-up dancers, as they perform a series of dances together spanning from hip-hop to salsa, jazz to tap dancing and more. The brand new dancing series is being hosted by actor and comedian Craig Robinson. The new show will consist of 10 contestants and they have been introduced as Cotton Candy, Cricket, Disco Ball, Exotic Bird, Hammerhead, Ice Cube, Miss Moth, Sloth, Tulip and Zebra. Disco Ball has already been revealed to be Ice-T and has exited the show. 

The contestants of this series are said to have sold more than 38 million albums worldwide, 20 Emmy Awards wins, 20 Grammy nominations, 10 World Dancing titles, five New York Times Best-Selling Author titles, four Olympic gold medals, and three Broadway show appearances.
