For those of you who were dying to know what will happen to the now broke and jobless Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) after bingeing on season 3, rejoice! 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' has earned a quick renewal for another season by Amazon, just a week after season 3 was released on Amazon Prime Video on December 6.

Given that the show is one of the streaming platform's critical and popular hits, the season 4 renewal was a given. Speaking about the renewal on December 12, showrunners Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband, Daniel Palladino said: “We were thrilled to hear that for the fourth time, we do not have to pack up and vacate the premises. We’d like to thank Amazon for all their faith and support, their partnership and enthusiasm, and for letting us hang with our favorite people, the cast and crew of '[The Marvelous Mrs] Maisel', for a little while longer.”

Amazon Studios' head Jennifer Salke also spoke about the renewal: "'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' has been a worldwide phenomenon, and Season 3 has been no exception, with the series’ most-watched opening weekend ever,” said Salke.

"We’re so happy that our Prime Video customers will get to see Midge’s story continue in season 4. Amy [Sherman-Palladino] and Dan [Palladino] have created such funny, charming, relatable characters, all with their inimitable wit and eye for detail, and our customers around the world will be delighted to have another season in the world of ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.’”

Season 3, within a week of its release, has been "certified fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes, receiving an 89% approval rating from critics and 82% rating from viewers. In addition, the show has already earned two 2020 Golden Globe nominations for the 'Best Television series - Musical or Comedy' category and another one for the show's lead, Rachel Brosnahan, for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Television series'.

The show also received four nominations for the 26th Screen Actors Guild TV Awards, more than any other show airing in 2019. The Amazon Original's SAG haul includes three individual "Outstanding performance" nominations for Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, and Tony Shalhoub as well as one group nomination in the "Outstanding Performance by an  Ensemble in a Comedy Series' category.

The first three seasons of 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' is available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video.
