Amazon prime has finally dropped the title of the upcoming 'The Lord of the Rings' series. 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' is set to go on air on the streaming platform towards the end of the year.

'The Ring of Power' is all set in the second age of middle-earth, approximately thousands of years before the events of 'The Lord of the Rings' novels or movies. The video announcing the upcoming show's title was released on Wednesday, January 19, with a voice-over teaser of the importance of the rings. "Three rings for the Elven Kings under the sky, Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone. Nine for mortal men, doomed to die. One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne. Who stars in the upcoming 'The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power'?

The upcoming show will be starring Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Trystan Gravelle, Benjamin Walker, Peter Mullan, Augustus Prew, Charles Edwards, Lenny Henry, Maim Baldry, Alex Tarrant, Simon Merrells, Lloyd Owen, Thusitha Jayasundera and Geoff Morrell.

Cynthia Addai-Robinson 

Cynthia Addai- Robinson was born on January 12, 1985. The American actress is best known for her roles as Naevia in the Starz television series 'Spartacus' and in TV series 'Arrow' as the DC Comics character Amanda Waller. From year 2016, she also played the role of Nadine Memphis on 'Shooter' on the USA Network.
