'The Last Slimeto': NBA YoungBoy's 30-track album gets mixed reactions, dubbed a '-0/10' in fans' books
The most anticipated album of NBA Youngboy is out and fans are excited. The album which is named 'The Last Slimeto' will have mostly the solo performances of the young rapper. On Thursday, August 4, 2022, Baton Rouge, Louisiana posted the official track list on their page which is a few hours after NBA young boy reactivated his Instagram official handle.
The album dropped at sharp 12 AM on Friday, August 5, 2022, and has a long list of 30 songs. It also features fans' favorite appearances including Quavo, Rod Wave, and Kehlani. 'The Last Slimeto' will be the last album of the rapper under his current contract with Atlantic Records. However, it was reported he has turned down an agreement of $25 million to re-sign with the company, and then a $60 million deal was floated by his 'Never Broke Again' imprint.

One of the main reasons that music enthusiasts were awaiting the release of this album is because this is the first of his music innovations to be out after a rigorous legal battle. In a case that was registered with the police earlier in September 2020 with the claims of possessing guns and drugs at a video shoot in Baton Rouge which eventually led to his home arrest in March 2021. However, he was removed from the charges in July 2022. 'The Last Slimeto' is a follow-up of the NBA YoungBoy’s Colors mixtape. Here is a snapshot of the songs included in the album.

However, a few others did not approve of the album and said, “Just finished listening to The Last Slimeto. I’m currently lost for words man. Crying real tears bro. This is quite possibly, quite literally, sincerely, the worst possible music I have ever heard. My ears are dripping with blood, currently on my way to the emergency room.” Another enthusiast stated, "Just listened to the entire NBA YB album and honestly, I've finally built up the courage to say that this artist is mid and this album is officially a -0/10 in my books, do better next time or retire.”
