'The Good Fight' Season 4 Episode 2 Preview: Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart go multinational, changing everything

The firm is acquired by multinational law firm STR Laurie, which will change the way things are operated in a major way

'The Good Fight' certainly opened with a bang, resolving last season's cliffhanger with Diane Lockhard (Christine Baranski) waking up in a dream world where Donald Trump lost the presidential election to Hillary Clinton. It was a world where everything had changed, and in the next episode of 'The Good Fight,' Diane may just find herself wondering once again whether or not the world she's woken up to is real.

After losing Chumhum as a client, Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart have been forced to accept being purchased by a huge multinational firm - STR Laurie. No longer a small Chicago firm, the lawyers of Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart are forced to come to terms with working with a firm on such a large scale. The firm has never had to work with such corporate oversight before, and it's certainly going to be a challenge.

In the meanwhile, the teasers for the season ahead have hinted at a 'Memo 618', a document that appears to put the 1% high above the law, though with the alternate-reality first episode, we've had no time to see it yet.

In the meanwhile, Diane runs into a familiar face, and in court, that's almost never an entirely good thing. Things are looking up for Luca Quinn (Cush Jumbo), however, as she takes on a high-profile divorce case - something she's been angling for much of Season 3.

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart attempt to adjust to their new landscape as a small subsidiary of STR Laurie, a huge multi-national law firm; Diane encounters a familiar face in court; Lucca is given an exciting, high-profile divorce case."

David Lee (Zach Grenier) is credited to appear in this episode, meaning he could very well be the familiar face that the synopsis is referring to. David Lee has not been seen since 'The Good Wife,' and as Lockart/Gardner's primary divorce lawyer, he's probably got a word or two for Luca Quinn. Knowing David Lee, in fact, he probably has a word for everyone at the firm - and none of those people of words are particularly receptive to hearing.

The next episode of 'The Good Fight' airs 16 April, on CBS All Access.
