This episode focuses on Sadie McCarthy's troubles as she navigates the challenges of her journalistic career. Sadie and Malcolm continue to share the screen in this episode, much like they did in the first two episodes.

Sadie was romantically involved with Malcolm during the previous election cycle, but their relationship was complicated and ended abruptly.

Malcolm's current role as a press secretary for a presidential candidate threatens to complicate matters for Sadie.

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 2, Sadie and Malcolm engage in a casual sexual encounter, unaware of the professional dynamics that would later complicate their relationship.

When Sadie learns that Malcolm is a press secretary for a presidential candidate, she worries that their relationship could lead to issues because of the rules against reporters having close ties with White House officials.

In this episode, Sadie maintains a distance from Malcolm to protect their respective jobs and keep their secrets safe. However, Malcolm continues to attempt to initiate conversations with her, further complicating matters for Sadie.

She expresses her gratitude to him, and they share a passionate kiss. However, their kiss is witnessed by someone, which could lead to further complications for Sadie.

Will Sadie lose her job? Only time will tell.
