'The Flight Attendant': Meet Kaley Cuoco, Rosie Perez and rest of the cast of HBO Max's dark comedic thriller

'The Flight Attendant' is an upcoming HBO Max dark comedy thriller that sees flight attendant Cassandra Bowden played by Kaley Cuoco stuck in an eerie situation after she finds herself waking up hungover next to a dead man. Calling the cops doesn't seem to be an option to her, and so she goes on with her day only to be questioned by the FBI. Could she be the killer? Here is the cast that's bringing the series to life. 

Kaley Cuoco as Cassandra "Cassie" Bowden

Cuoco is known for her role as Penny on the CBS hit comedy series 'The Big Bang Theory' (2007-2019). The actress won a Critics Choice Television Award in 2013 for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the production. She's also won two People's Choice Award for Favorite Comedic TV Actress for the same production.

Her most recent works include 'Young Sheldon' (2019), 'Harley Quinn' (2019-2020) and 'The Cabin with Bert Kreischer' (2020). The talented actress also launched Yes, Norman Productions, her production company in 2017 and according to HBO Max has a multi-year pod deal with Warner Bros Television. 

Rosie Perez as Megan Briscoe

Perez is a very talented actress known for her works as Gloria Clemente in Ron Shelton’s 'White Men Can't Jump' (1992), Carla Rodrigo in Peter Weir’s 'Fearless' (1993), Cindy in 'Untamed Heart' (1993), and Chek in 'The Road to El Dorado' (2000). Most recently the actress appeared in 'Birds of Prey' (2020), 'The Last Thing He Wanted' (2020) and 'For NYC' (2020).

She is an Oscar, Golden Globe, and Emmy-nominated actress and choreographer. In 1994, Perez was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for 'Fearless' (1993), and the next year she was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for the same production.

She was also nominated for three Primetime Emmy - two for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Choreography and one for Outstanding Choreography - for 'In Living Color' (1990). She's also known for her roles as Tina in Spike Lee’s 'Do the Right Thing' (1989), 

Michelle Gomez as Miranda Croft

Gomez is known for her roles as Sue White in 'Green Wing' (2004-2006), Missy in 'Doctor Who' (2014-2017), Janice McCann in 'The Book Group' (2002-2003) and Eliette Malet in 'The Collection' (2016). Most recently she played the role of Mary Wardwell in 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' (2018-2020).

In 2015, the actress was nominated for a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Actress - Television for 'Doctor Who' and in 2016 she was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress for the same production. She's also known for her works such as 'The Brink', 'Gotham', 'Bad Education', 'Psychobitches', 'Feel the Force' and 'The Book Group'.

TR Knight as Davey Bowden

Knight is most famously known for his role as Dr George O'Malley in 'Grey's Anatomy' (2005-2020). His other works include 'Genius', '11.22.63' and '42'. He is an Emmy nominated actor and has most recently been part of 'The Bravest Knight' (2019), 'God Friended Me' (2019), 'Will & Grace' (2020) and 'The Comedy Rule'.

In 20117, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for 'Grey's Anatomy' (2005). In 2006, Knight won a Satellite Award for Best Ensemble, Television and in 2007, he won a Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for the same production. He shared both wins with his castmates.

Colin Woodell Buckley Ware

Woodell is known for his roles as Charles in 'The Call of the Wild' (2020), a 911 Operator in 'Searching' (2018), Mark in 'Unsane' (2018), and Matias in 'Unfriended: Dark Web' (2018). The actor's most recent works include 'The Originals' (2014-2018), 'The Purge' (2018) and 'Fragile.com' (2018).

Nolan Gerard Funk as Van White

Funk is known for his roles as Angel Eyes in 'Counterpart' (2018), Hunter Clarington in 'Glee', and Collin Jennings in 'Awkward' (2013-2015). His recent works include 'Berlin, I Love You' (2019), 'She's Gotta Have It' (2019), and 'Burning Bright' (2019). He has one release titled 'The Coven' in post-production. In 2007, the actor was nominated for a Leo for Best Performance or Host in a Youth or Children's Program or Series for 'Renegadepress.com' (2004) for the episode titled 'Fear'.

The synopsis on HBO Max reads, "'The Flight Attendant' is a story of how an entire life can change in one night. A flight attendant (Kaley Cuoco) wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened. The dark comedic thriller is based on the novel of the same name by New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian."
