The Dramatic Arrest of Donald Trump: Inside the DEEP FAKE images that have gone viral
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: As the chaos over Donald Trump's arrest continues, a set of pictures created with the help of artificial intelligence is making rounds on social media depicting the former POTUS' dramatic arrest. Trump has already declared that he expects to be arrested in connection with the hush money scam involving porn star Stormy Daniels on Tuesday, March 21.
Bellingcat journalist Eliot Higgins created the pictures and shared them on his Twitter handle. The pictures were shared on social media amid fears of protests and unrest by Trump loyalists. Meanwhile, police officers are out in full force in New York City, and the grand jury is deliberating over the hush money allegations. On Tuesday, March 21, Trump's $250M lawsuit hearing was interrupted over a bomb threat shutting down Manhattan Court. The lawsuit was brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

What do the images portray?
There were a few dramatic images that went viral. Some of them depict how Trump is being chased down the street by police officers. Another shows his wife, Melania, screaming at the officers. Others show the former President in jail wearing an orange jumpsuit. A series of these images seemingly depict Trump planning a prison heist as he finally breaks out and can be seen running toward McDonald's. The journalist created these images using Midjourney v5 artificial intelligence image generators.
Has Donald Trump called for protests if arrested?
Trump has already called out for protest if he is arrested. He wrote on Truth Social, "Page 2: NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!."
'AI is here to stay'
The Internet quickly reacted to the pictures. A user noted, "These 'photos' are created using Midjourney V5, an AI image generator that produces photorealistic images. As delicious as this particular topic is, we really must start questioning everything that we see with our own eyes. Creator is @EliotHiggins." "It’s months away from looking perfect," noted a user. A user wrote, "Those hands looks very realistic. It doesn't raise any questions. "Social Media Platforms" have no responsibility, nor are they capable of having any. At best they should note that any images may be fake and respond to people who request taken downs in a logical and fair manner."

Another claimed, "AI is here to stay. Nobody will be able to trust anything anymore, particularly audio or video. This has already been seen with the Project Veritas congress video." "Trump running, yeah right," wrote a user. "It kinda looks like one of the cops is running past trump - or will be in a couple more steps," wrote another.

A user claimed, "Actually you didn’t make anything, a computer program needing minimal input made these. The apex of creativity with AI generation is concept." "Legit thought these were real," wrote another. "I’d have the popcorn ready. I’m picturing him resisting exactly like this. As a petulant spoiled brat. @EliotHiggins Nailed it. #TuesdayMotivaton #Trump #NewYorkCity," said a user. "Ridiculous. You should be worried whats happening in the us...," noted another. "LoL this is great BUT..I wouldn't be surprised it lots of people believed this to be true."
