All this while, the face of Vought's Seven happened to be Homelander. This man, who had no qualms about killing a plane full of people in earlier episodes is now extremely angry at Vought for bringing on board Stormfront (Aya Cash). She is not someone who would stay in line, and stay behind Homelander (Antony Starr) and that is something that he learned in the previous episode. Despite his orders that Kimiko's (Karen Fukuhara) brother Kenji (Abraham Lim) was his to take care of, Stormfront gets to him first and kills him in a horrible manner as Kimiko watches her. While until this moment she seemed to be rebelling against the Vought's supes, with grand ideas about equality; we learned that she was a racist.

From dropping Black people dead with no second thoughts to addressing Kenji by a slur, Stormfront is as horrible or even more so, than Homelander. So when she gets attention for taking off Kenji -- who was labeled as a supe terrorist who was brainwashed by the Shining Light Liberation Army to attack the US -- to say that Homelander is not happy would be an understatement. This fourth episode in its entirety documents how Homelander's man child behavior does nothing good for him or his team.

For instance, when he realizes that Stormfront can easily take the control away from Homelander, the first thing he does at the advice of someone that he had always trusted, is to remove the weeds from the Seven. He begins with Starlight (Erin Moriarty). He is mad at Starlight for not killing Hughie the moment that she received an order from him, and Homelander is pissed that she would even hesitate. So to gauge if she is lying to him and if she is still with Hughie, Homelander decides to strangle her and torture her in the elevator. Starlight manages to convince him that her hatred for Hughie who once broke her heart hasn't disappeared and it never will.

She also hides the lie with half-truths and tells Homelander that she would rather be killed than execute people senselessly. This way, he approaches every person in the Seven and confronts them about the lies that they have told him, and this results in some intense conflicts within the Seven. Stormfront takes advantage of this and she manages to further increase her popularity among fans by attacking Vought's way of doing things. She also outs the Seven for doing "jacks***t" in the face of an attack. She pushes the public to become their own hero and a section of the public believes her and follows her. This section has now begun fighting for a piece of the pie that is Compound V. Who wouldn't want to rule the planet with a dash of superpower?

After all, Vought has completely transformed Compound V into a commercial product that is vied by people across the world and Stormfront is using all of this greed to stoke the fires and use it. While the Seven are busy dealing with internal conflict, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) receives some important information from his contact at Langley. He gets Becca's address, and also the address of someone who would be able to help Butcher's friends in their fight against the supe. She tells Butcher specifically to send Mother's Milk aka MM and ask the resident of the address about a supe known as Liberty.

Starlight, who is sick and feels suffocated at Vought decides to meet Hughie and check on his condition. She hears Hughie speak to MM about a road trip for recon and that's how a supe and two members of the Boys end up finding a shocking truth that will change the face of Vought's Seven. How will this news affect the future of the fight between Butcher and Homelander is something that we cannot wait to watch.

'The Boys' Season 2 new episodes will release on Fridays and can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
