Interested in gardening? How about a little competition? Netflix's 'The Big Flower Fight' brings together ten pair of amateur florists, sculptors and garden designers as they dive into a friendly colour fight of bringing to life big and bold garden sculptors. With a bit of physical hard work and emotional investment, watch these individuals battle it out as they create supersize structures with flowers and foliage. Besides the challenge being hilariously adorable, this might be the prettiest competition there is - here is all you need to know about Season 1 coming this May.

Release date

Season 1 of 'The Big Flower Fight' will premiere on May 18, 2020.

Plot

The official synopsis from the streaming service reads, "Ten pairs of amateur gardeners from around the world push their skills to the limit as they compete to create stunning, supersized floral sculptures." On a more environmentally friendly note, the participants are asked to think about plants that help give back to our environment such as insect-friendly species.

Cast

The series is hosted by Natasia Demetriou and Vic Reeves.

Natasia Demetriou is a comedian, actress and screenwriter best known for her role as Nadja in the 2019 TV adaptation of the film 'What We Do in the Shadows.' Her other roles and works include - Sophie in 'Stath Lets Flats,' Jemima Codex-Forrester in 'The Road to Brexit,'  and as Officer Chadwick in 'Sick Note.'

Creators

The series was created by Ana de Moraes with Simone Haywood and Susanne Rock serving as executive producers. The series is produced by ITV Studios-backed MultiStory Media and was commissioned by Nathaniel Grouille and Lucy Leveugle for Netflix.

Watch the surreal colorful traits as 10 pairs from the US, Denmark, UK and Ireland gear up to battle it out to win an opportunity to design their own sculpture that will be put in London’s Kew Royal Botanic Gardens. One team will be eliminated every week as the competition gets a bit more challenging!
