In a cringe-worthy moment, host Jesse Palmer brutally shades 'insufferable' suitor Brayden Bowers

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bachelor Nation was stunned after 'The Bachelorette' contestant, Brayden Bowers, was publicly ridiculed by the show's host, Jesse Palmer. Brayden is a travel nurse from San Diego, California, who received the 'First Impression' rose. 

Jesse addressed all the men before bachelorette Charity Lawson's first one-on-one date on the Monday, July 3 episode. The host began discussing the First Impression Rose with Brayden. After a difficult start to the episode, Brayden said Charity made him "sweat" for the rose the night before. It doesn't take long after that for Jesse to call out the contestant's wardrobe.

'Brayden, what's up with the outfit today?'

Brayden was dressed in a white t-shirt, a plethora of silver jewelry, and an eye-catching scarf. Jesse abruptly turned the conversation to comment on his clothes, saying, "Can I just ask you real quick, Brayden, what's up with the outfit today? What are we going for?"

All the men laughed out loud, including Brayden. "Dude, I just try to mix it up, man," he said. He added, "Like, I woke up this morning. I was feelin' the scarf, and it looks like a tablecloth or whatever."

Jesse went on to say, "I feel like Brayden was like, 'I got the first impression rose, f**k it.'"

'Not Jesse flaming Brayden’s outfit'

While many branded Bryaden 'insufferable', host Jesse became a fan favorite on the episode as a viewer tweeted, "Not jesse calling out Brayden's bad style lmao that's the first time i've liked him as host." Another person gave him another shoutout, "Major props to Jesse Palmer for roasting Brayden’s outfit in front of all the guys." One user noted, "If jesse palmer is clowning you about your outfit brayden, that’s when you know it’s bad." A fourth user tweeted, "Not Jesse flaming Brayden’s outfit because we as viewers can’t to his face."

Asking to see more of it, one tweeted, "Jesse with the Brayden banter! More of this, producers!" Another person quipped, "Why did jesse clear brayden like that." One user requested, "Jesse roasting Brayden's outfit right out of the gate. Is he eligible for tweet of the week?"
