Spoilers for 'The Bachelorette' Season 16 finale episodes. You may stop reading if you haven't watched the hometown dates episode.

Brendan Morais is one of the frontrunners for the final rose on Tayshia Adams' season of 'The Bachelorette'. He's been a favorite from the start, Tayshia can't seem to get enough of him and fans are crazy over everything he does, even his turtlenecks that he's sporting in 65-degree weather in Palm Springs. Tayshia met his brother, sister-in-law, and niece on the recent episode that just aired and the energy that they shared was magical to watch. Nothing seemed forced and even though these things can sometimes look a little scripted, this didn't feel like it was manufactured at all. Tayshia picked her final three tonight, one of who she'd hand out the final rose and pick to marry in next week's episode. However, it looks like the group shrunk further and Tayshia would just have two men to pick from.

On the preview for the next episode that just aired, Brendan was reflecting on his journey that he's had on the show. He was heard saying that he's nervous and anxious about all of it and all things hinted towards him considering walking out of the show. Reality Steve, a blogger who's known to give out accurate information about the show, confirmed that Brendan indeed leaves the show after the hometown dates. He was married once to his highschool sweetheart Simone Santos. The two were divorced just a year before he signed up for the show and that supposedly played a part in him being anxious about being tied down again.

Reality Steve said that Brendan ends up telling Tayshia that he doesn't see himself being able to commit to her going forward, citing his recent divorce as the reason behind it. He claimed that he was ready to move on from his ex-wife but wasn't as prepared as he'd hoped to be. Tayshia ends up being very hurt as she'd been very vocal about how Brendan made her feel. He was the one contestant that had the biggest chance of ending up with the final rose, however, it seems like that's not going to happen, not on the show at least.

'The Bachelorette' Finale Episode will air over two days next week, on Monday, December 21, and Tuesday, December 22, only on ABC.
