QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA: The ‘Croc Files’ star Terri Irwin has reportedly been struggling with the fear that her children are going to leave her as she feels they are all "grown up and need her less" in their lives.

The 58-year-old star, who also owns the Australia Zoo, raised her children Bindi, 24, and Robert, 19, as a single mother following her husband Steve Irwin’s death in 2006. But now, she is having a hard time accepting the bittersweet fact that her children are all grown-up. "Terri is happy to see both Bindi and Robert living their lives and thriving, but it does break her heart just a little to see her kids all grown-up and needing her less and less," a source told New Idea magazine.

Terri's worries heightened after rumors of Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell expecting their second child dominated the headlines. “She has watched on proudly as Bindi grew into a confident mother with Grace, but she knows that when the next little one arrives that Bindi will want to do things her way now – and that’s likely going to be a hard adjustment,” the Australian Zoo insider allegedly claimed.

The rumors of the couple’s pregnancy started making rounds after Bindi posted pictures of Chandler's 26th birthday on November 14. The cheerful snaps soon invited eagle-eyed followers' attention as they pointed out that Bindi was hiding her stomach behind a strategically-placed birthday cake. A source close to the couple later told Woman's Day magazine that the pair, who tied the knot in March 2020, will be announcing the big news "any day now."

The source also claimed that Bindi and Chandler were waiting for Chandler's US-based parents, Chris and Shanna, to arrive in Australia for his birthday to spill the happy news to them first. "They're hoping to officially announce another baby is on the way any day now," an insider allegedly told the publication. "They also can't wait to give Grace a sibling close in age. They want a boy, given that both Bindi and Chandler grew up with a brother each and loved it."

The insider further added that Bindi is hoping to give her 20-month-old daughter Grace Warrior a sibling "sooner rather than later." "Bindi's already hinted to her mom that she might be a grandma for the second time and Terri's over the moon at the mere thought of it," they claimed.
