'Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant': Kiaya finally decides to meet Carla but their relationship remains bitter
Kiaya Elliot and her baby daddy X'zayveon's mother Carla have been having a hard time settling on the same page and things do not seem to be getting any better for the two.
Ever since Kiaya gave birth to their son Amour, Carla has not gotten an opportunity to meet her grandson. However, X'zayveon became lucky to meet his son as Kiaya took Amour to meet him in prison.
After spending several weeks trying to make sure that Carla does not meet Amour, Kiaya finally decided it was time to mend her relationship with Carla.
However, she knows that it would not be possible if the two of them are sitting together and talking. To make things easier for them and for the conversation to be more productive, Kiaya decides it would be best for both of them to sit with a mediator in between.
Carla agrees and says she is willing to let go of things in the past and move on. Kiaya arrives at the location with the hope that at the end of the day things would get better.
When Carla and Kiaya sit down together, Carla puts her side of the story and reveals why she had a problem with Kiaya getting pregnant.
She says she was not happy to know her son would become a father because she thought he is incapable of taking responsibility for himself, let alone a baby. She adds that she knows he has made a lot of mistakes and she does not want the baby to struggle because of that.
However, Kiaya has a different side to the story. She reveals that Carla had previously blamed her for the pregnancy and was consistent in telling her to get an abortion.
Even though Carla admits that what she said was wrong and apologized for the same, Kiaya is not ready to move on. Carla ends up breaking down with their conversation not heading any further.
Even though Kiaya makes an effort to mend her relationship, it seems like she would need a lot more time than she needed.
'Teen Mom Young and Pregnant' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on MTV.
