‘Ted Lasso’ Season 3 Episode 8 Review: Ted spirals as Michelle and Dr Jacob plan romantic trip to Paris
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nothing went right for the American coach Ted Lasso until Episode 7 of Season 3. AFC Richmond, his team, was in shambles, relegation talk was kicking up, and our beloved coach was struggling hard to keep his personal life intact. In a fateful meeting with Coach Beard in Amsterdam, Ted had an epiphany about his team after a harrowing 5-0 loss to Ajax. Unfortunately, the revelation he had during his mild drug binge in an American restaurant in Amsterdam was nothing more than a football philosophy that has been practiced since the 1970s. It is still known as 'Total Football.'
At the beginning of the eighth episode of the final season of Apple TV +'s 'Ted Lasso,' the team implements this strategy and wins four games in a row. Everything looked so rosy until Ted was visited by his former wife and son. This should have been a pleasant sight for any man, but his ex-wife Michelle brought Dr Jacob and talked about a trip to Paris that she will take with Jacob. Although Ted is distraught, he tries to keep his emotions at bay. He spends time with his son to block out the idea of his ex-wife canoodling with her lover in Paris, but he is haunted by a bizarre but realistic thought. And so he summons the Diamond Dogs, a team of men consisting of Coach Beard, Leslie Higgins, the head of the soccer department, and newcomer Trent Crimm, a journalist who watches the team and is writing a book about the club.

'Ted Lasso' Season 3 Review: The most joyous show on TV returns with another enchanting chapter
Ted wanted the Paris trip with Michelle
Ted is a lovable character who has his heart in the right place. His indefatigable optimism sometimes belies his ignorance, and when he asks for help, everyone is willing to give it to him. He puts the terrible idea that Michelle has become engaged to Dr Jacob in front of the Diamond Dogs and is advised not to worry about anything that hasn't happened to the trio of Coach Beard, Trent, and Higgins. He's told to wait. But if you've followed Ted for three seasons, you can guess that patience is a last resort for Ted. He rushes to Rebecca, the head of AFC Richmond, with a box of delicious cookies and asks her to connect him with a private investigator who can track down Michelle and Jacob. When Rebecca calls him and tries to talk him out of it, Ted confesses.
Ted wanted to take a trip to Paris with Michelle early on, but since they were broke, they could not. Given the growing importance of Dr Jacob in Michelle's life, it seems that Ted will never have his 'Midnight in Paris' moment with Michelle, or worse, any moment anywhere in the world. For Ted, who still has feelings for Michelle, this would be a moment that would end his life. He may wear a mask to hide it, but in moments of anguish, when he fails at his job at the club, he longs for Michelle. But Ted's moment of relief comes when he sings 'Hey Jude' with his son outside a pub, shortly after Rebecca mentions that Ted should forget the past and focus on building a warm relationship with his son. With only a few episodes left to air, it will be interesting to see if Ted can rekindle the fire in Michelle's heart and have his 'Paris moment' with her.
Scandalous video puts a bump in Keeley and Jack’s relationship
In a huge data leak, photos, videos, and nude images of celebrities are released to the world public. Keeley is part of the leak and an extremely private video of her goes public. She's terrified, but Jack assures her that she'll make it up to her until she doesn't. Keeley wanted the video removed from the internet, but Jack couldn't do that. Jack wanted Keeley to feel guilty about what she did, but Keeley explains that she'll not be ashamed of a video she made for her ex-boyfriend. The ground they're standing on starts to shake and their relationship turns sour.
While that relationship is on the rocks, Nate Shelley, current West Ham United coach, and former AFC Richmond outfitter, finally gets the hostess of his favorite restaurant for a girlfriend. Ted may have missed his train to Paris, and Keeley may never go to Paris with Jack, but Nate, AFC Richmond's nemesis, had a happy ending at the end of the episode and may soon book two tickets to Paris.
