Taylor Swift's ‘inner circle’ unfollow Joe Alwyn after breakup news was allegedly leaked by actor
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It seems Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are really not a couple anymore as reports have claimed that the singer’s brother and her close friends have begun to unfollow him on Instagram. There has not yet been any official announcement from any of the two, but speculations are there that they have decided to part ways.
Not just that, some reports even claimed that the 33-year-old songstress has accused the actor of spreading out their apparent breakup news. A few days ago, a source said that things were not fine between the two, who had been together for six years, and when Swift asked Alwyn, “Do we need to address this?” the 32-year-old, instead, suggested to “take a break and call this tour [The Eras Tour] a chance for a breather and to reassess and see where things stand at the end of it.”

‘He's the one who leaked the news’
However, things did not fall in place as the source added, “he [Alwyn] not only seemed okay with the distance and space, but she absolutely thinks he's the one who leaked the news.” Amid all this drama, the Daily Mail reported that Swift’s younger brother Austin pressed on unfollow button for Alwyn on social media. Supermodel Gigi Hadid and the Haim sisters also followed the same path. The sisters even removed the ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ actor from their official HAIM band page.

‘Joe Alwyn will surprise you’
Supermodels Martha Hunt and Lily Aldridge are also reportedly now not followers of Alwyn. However, what shocked people more when Ryan Reynolds unfollowed Alwyn after meeting Swift for dinner with his wife Blake Lively in New York City on April 19. In September last year, he called him a person “made of good stuff,” in a TIME100 Next article.
At the time, Reynolds penned down, “I’ve known Joe Alwyn for six years—and that’s long enough to see someone’s heart. Long enough to know whether or not they’re made of good stuff. And Joe Alwyn is made of good stuff. Don’t take my word for it. He’s bewitched a host of filmmakers, including Ang Lee, Yorgos Lanthimos, Lenny Abrahamson, and Claire Denis. Joe will launch the charm attack of the hero.”
“He’ll do the dirty work of the villain. He’ll hoist up the complicated and often murky portrait of a historical figure. Joe Alwyn will surprise you. He’s managed to do all this while evading the industry’s tried-and-true ability to label and pigeonhole a performer. He lives at the intersection of enigmatic mystery and fun drinking buddy—a quality that no doubt contributed to his standout performance in this year’s ‘Conversations With Friends’,” the ‘Deadpool’ star mentioned.
He also added, “It’s exciting to witness where he’s been. More exciting to see where he’s headed. But before I finish this tribute, it’s imperative I mention his kindness, his generosity, and humanity. And as evidenced in ‘The Favourite,’ he will out-dance your ass with stoic high kicks and plunging floor work … all while wearing a powdered wig and no less than 50 lb of high-end satin finery.”
This comes as earlier a tipster claimed that Swift’s flourishing career was an issue for Alwyn. The source reportedly noted, “This drove them apart and ultimately, they both realized they were not on the same page anymore. It's been hard for Joe trying to make it in Hollywood and not quite becoming leading man material while dating one of the most famous women in the world over the last six years.”
