Going solo: Joe Alwyn seen in rare snap two weeks after breaking up with Taylor Swift
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Joe Alwyn was all grins in an Instagram snapshot taken by his ‘The Brutalist’ co-star Emma Laird on Tuesday, April 18. The actor, 32, appeared to be in high spirits in the solo picture, which was uploaded only weeks after it was announced that he and Taylor Swift, 33, had ended their six-year relationship.
Emma, 24, posted the snapshot of Joe among a sequence of photos with her friends and co-stars that she labeled "Moments in March." Joe was dressed in a black jumper and dark pants, and he was riding an electric scooter on a dark street. He had a little grin on his face and appeared to be having a good time while riding the scooter. Emma will co-star with Joe in the drama ‘The Brutalist’.

No-drama breakup
While it's unclear when the photo was taken, it appears to be from before Joe and Taylor announced their breakup after almost seven years together. In an earlier April story by Entertainment Tonight, it was alleged that the pair had separated amicably after the romance had "run its course." According to the publication, the separation was "not dramatic."
Since the separation, a source close to the 'Love Story' singer has told People that the couple "weren't the right fit for one another." "They've had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together," they explained.
Taylor and Joe called it quits in March
Taylor has been seen out on a couple of occasions after the separation. She was sighted in London shortly after the separation was announced, allegedly working on a music video. The singer was also seen having supper with her pal and colleague Jack Antonoff in New York City.
Taylor's fans were devastated to learn that she and Joe had split as she embarked on her career-spanning Eras Tour this spring and summer. A fan held up a placard inquiring whether she was "OK" during one of her Tampa gigs after the split was publicized, and she gave a thumbs up.
