Taylor Swift's ‘Folklore’ Concert: How to live stream for free? Here's the trailer and how to watch on Disney Plus
The biggest news for Swifties since singer Taylor Swift announced her live Folklore’ Concert is how to live stream that for free! The ‘Cardigan’ singer took to Twitter to tease her fans about the upcoming Folklore Disney Plus concert.
The concert will showcase Swift’s performance of all 17 songs on the album ‘Folklore’ which released in July earlier this year. Besides the album’s song performances, the concert will feature a special, titled ‘Folklore: The Long Pong Studio Sessions’. This part will have conversations between Swift and her ‘Folklore’ collaborators: Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, and Justin Vernon.
The screening is also special since it comes fresh on the heels of the news that Swift received six nominations for the 2021 Grammys. The singer is up for numerous awards for her eighth studio album, 'Folklore', including Best Pop Solo Performance for 'Cardigan,' Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for 'Exile,' Best Pop Vocal Album for 'Folklore', Album of the Year, as well as Song of the Year for 'Cardigan.'
Coming back to the Grammy-nominated album, Variety quotes Swift calling it "An album that allows you to feel your feelings, and it’s a product of isolation." Her collaborator Antonoff reportedly remarked that he “never worked on an album like this,” to which Swift replied, “I was so glad that we did because it turned out that everybody needed a good cry — as well as us.”
Swift wrote on Twitter on November 24 sharing a video that has some intimate conversations with the collaborators and also shows a glimpse of the album’s songs. “Well it’s 11/24 and 24-11=13 so I’ve got an announcement. You haven’t seen this film before folklore: the long pond studio sessions will be out tonight at midnight PST on @DisneyPlus! #folkloreOnDisneyPlus,” she wrote.

The release of the much anticipated “Folklore” film on Disney Plus also comes after Swift’s trio of wins at the American Music Awards. The 30-year-old artist won the coveted Artist of the Year award and broke her own record for the most-ever AMA wins.
For the unversed, 'Folklore' is the eighth studio album by Swift. The album can be described as a fusion of indie folk, alternative rock, and electro-folk. The artist wrote and recorded the album amid the raging Covid-19 pandemic. The album draws on feelings of isolationism and stream of consciousness that is manifested with surreal and magical storytelling. The album gave Swift her seventh consecutive number-one album in the United States. Swift has now earned many awards and nominations for this album that included multiple nominations at People's Choice Awards, American Music Awards and more. Now as many of us might be excited to know about streaming, here’s how to go about it.
When to live stream
The film will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus on Wednesday, November 25, at 12.01 am PT.
