In light of the similarities between Swift and Healy's alleged relationship, and one she had seven years ago with Tom Hiddleston, the 'Love Story' singer fans have now developed a new theory that contends their relationship may be doomed to fail.

On May 11, Swift and Healy were seen "kissing" at Casa Cipriani in New York City. Apparently, the couple "sat next to each other at a banquette in the lounge," an eyewitness said. The eyewitness also stated that neither of them had ordered food while they were "cuddling and kissing," as reported by Page Six.

What is the conspiracy theory about?

Swift made news in 2016 when it was revealed she had broken up with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris and began dating British actor Tom Hiddleston. After three months of dating, Swift and Hiddleston called it quits on their brief relationship in September 2016. Fans are already comparing Hiddleson to Healy on Twitter, the man she allegedly started seeing after splitting from British actor Joe Alwyn after six years of dating, as per Daily Express.

One Twitter user suggested that Swift wore a yellow dress while she was dating Hiddleston and wore it again recently, which they took as an indication. They said, "Historically, a yellow dress has been a cry for help," while another user chimed in, "Im sorry but yellow dress literally is her symbol for rebounds."

Another typed, "Maybe it’s just another getaway car moment." Someone else typed, "That’s what I’ve been saying, this is getaway 2." Another follower quipped, "Taylor Swift isn't dating Matty Healy just like she never dated Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Joe Jonas or Tom Hiddleston. The last person Taylor Swift dated publicly was Dianna Agron and before that? Karlie Kloss. Stop your Bull$hit Swifties!"

The theory that Swift's relationship with Healy is a "PR stunt" to promote the release of new music was another that social media users seemed to support. Rumored couple 'madly in love'

Meanwhile, insiders told The Sun on May 3 that Swift and Healy were "madly in love." The insider said, "It's super-early days, but it feels right," to the media outlet. According to sources, "They first dated, very briefly, almost 10 years ago, but the timings just didn't work out."

The insider clarified that since Alwyn and Swift had broken up in February, there was no overlap. According to Page Six, Swift has been more open about having Healy by herself than she had been with the actor ever since the 1975 singer attended many of her 'Eras' tour dates.
