NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: New anchors are on the way to host 'GMA3' as TJ Holmes and Amy Robach have been pulled from the show amid the turmoil created by their bombshell scandal uncovered last week. During an internal phone call Monday, ABC News President Kim Godwin shared that the two will no longer anchor the regular 1.pm broadcast. In the call, Godwin reportedly complained to staff that the alleged affair had become an "internal and external distraction" and that the GMA brand was being questioned.

This week, ABC National Correspondent Stephanie Ramos and Transportation Correspondent Gio Benitez will host GMA3 until ABC learns how to deal with the PR disaster, the Daily Mail has learned. "After a lot of thought, I am taking Amy and TJ off the air as we figure this out," the president said. Although the love affair between the co-hosts is said to have begun in March or August, when they both separated from their respective spouses, the GMA president added, "it does not violate the company policy. According to Kim, the decision to remove the two from their anchor positions was crucial to the "GMA" brand, while "there is massive confusion internally,' a source told the station.

"You know, it's too bad it's Friday. It's been a great week."

The alleged romance has not gone down well with prominent 'GMA' anchor Robin Roberts, according to multiple sources who spoke to Page Six. Robin, they said is, “not only very religious but also doesn’t like this kind of scandal tainting the show.” He also confronted Holmes and Robach when he “pulled them both aside and basically said, "Stop it”

Holmes, 44 is married to a 44-year-old attorney, Marilee Fiebig, with some reports suggesting that despite the couple living separately for three months, they had been trying hard to "reconcile'. Holmes's other three-year-old alleged affair with married GMA producer Natasha Singh in 2016 is also making news. It has been reported that Homes had then told Marilee about him cheating on her. Robach 49, and his husband Andrew Shue, 55, were separated in August and have almost "finalized the divorce." However, it is not known yet when did Amy and Holme's spouses learn about the alleged romance of their spouses.
